What You’ll Do

• Monitors shipping paperwork throughout the warehouse
• Tracking and scheduling the loading and unloading of trucks
• Responsible for transmission of ASNs for automotive
• Calls truck lines daily for part pick-ups including expedited freight.
• Responsible for international shipping of product (export paperwork)
• Maintains positive and productive communication with internal and external customers and suppliers.
• Maintains organized filing system for related paperwork.
• Maintains Shipping related policies and ensures proper procedures are being followed.
•  of packaging and other warehouse related supplies
• Special projects related to cost savings or other business-related improvements within Logistics.
• Collaboratively work with Supervisors/Managers to ensure timely response to customers both internal and external.
• Other duties as assigned.

Who You Are

• High School Graduate or GED required.
• Associates degree preferred.
• Three (3) to five (5) years' experience in shipping warehouse coordinator functions
• Advanced knowledge of computers, Microsoft Office, and JDEdwards

Competencies (5-10 Critical Areas of Understanding/Practice for the role)

• Basic mathematical understanding and ability (add, subtract, divide units of measurement)
• Common sense understanding to carry out work instructions.
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
• Good computer knowledge, preferably with Microsoft office
• Ability to stay focused in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects timely.
• Ability to work overtime as required and assist with weekend emergency shipments as needed.
• Ability to give basic instruction and provide oversight to warehouse.
