Retail Security Officer – Full Time & Part Time

Location: Grand Junction, CO - (Denver / Aurora / Park Meadows)

Rate: $19.00-$19.50/HR + $500 Bonus

Shift: Swing & Graves Shifts Available - Includes Weekends & Holidays

Securitas Security Services is seeking customer service driven, professional individuals for retail security. These officers must be very attentive, highly observant and have excellent communication skills.

TYPICAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Foot patrols; monitoring for shoplifters, unauthorized personnel etc
• Communicate with control/camera room if on site 
• Reports suspicious activity
• Responds in emergency situations
• Preserves order

Position Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older 
• High School Diploma or GED Required 
• Standard computer / technology skills needed
• Must be reliable, accountable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic
• Must have a strong grasp of appropriate and professional verbal / written communication
• Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills a plus
• Customer service background preferred 
• Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner
• Must be able to conduct patrols throughout shift
• Must have great attention to detail 
• Must be comfortable conducting access control duties  
• Must have a reliable means of communication & transportation
