Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Manufacturing Operations Analyst Manager (level K) to support the Lab Operations Team located in Oklahoma City, OK.

In this role you will be responsible for managing electrical lab activities, B-52 Test Articles, and machine shop operations. Development for various programs by acting as a primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives by interfacing with customers.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manages employees performing advanced technical knowledge and leadership to manufacturing projects to resolve production concerns.
  • Develop and execute organizational plans, policies, and procedures in accordance with MS&B and BDS business goals and objectives
  • Develop and execute project and process plans, implement policies and procedures, and set operational goals
  • Maintain adherence to FOD, tool control, calibration, and training requirements
  • Maintain needed technical, cost, and schedule aspects of the IPT, including integration and support of the IPT's products and charter
  • Acquire resources for projects and processes and lead process improvements
  • Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reports
  • Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products, and processes
  • Manage, develop, and motivate employees
  • Work closely with engineering managers and program managers to identify staffing requirements and execute hiring processes to meet demand
  • Identify training requirements and assure opportunities are available to support the team's development
  • Execute performance management processes and evaluation of direct reports including 1:1 coaching, employee development, and ensuring technical proficiency
  • Meet commitments and drive safety, quality, efficiency, and affordability
  • Mentor and coach all levels of lab technicians, providing knowledge transfer to aid in growing our next generation of leaders
  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. 

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience working in operations or manufacturing environment
  • Experience in developing and implementing process improvements
  • Current active Secret U.S. Security Clearance

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years’ of leadership experience in a formal or informal capacity
  • 1+ years’ experience working in a lab environment
  • Experience working in a machining / machine-shop environment
  • Experience working in the aerospace industry
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency and experience working with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)

Shift:

This position will be supporting and assigned to 1st shift

Additional Information:

This position requires travel up to 10% of the time
