Genesys is seeking a highly skilled and motivated senior Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to join our Enterprise Integrations team. The Lead BSA will play a crucial role in analyzing, designing, and implementing integration solutions across various business systems using AWS services. This position requires a deep understanding of business processes, technical acumen, and the ability to bridge the gap between business requirements and technical solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Requirements Gathering:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for integration projects.

  • Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys to understand business needs and objectives.

  • Craft user stories based on gathered requirements.

• Analysis and Design:

  • Analyze business processes and workflows to identify integration opportunities.

  • Develop functional specifications and technical requirements for integration solutions.

  • Design integration architecture leveraging AWS services such as AWS Lambda, API Gateway, S3, SNS, SQS, and others.

• Solution Implementation:

  • Work closely with the development team to ensure the integration solutions are implemented as per the specifications.

  • Coordinate with different teams to ensure seamless integration between various systems.

  • Perform system configuration and data mapping for integrations.

• Testing and Validation:

  • Develop test plans and test cases to validate integration solutions.

  • Perform system and integration testing to ensure quality and functionality.

  • Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) and address any issues or defects identified.

• Documentation and Training:

  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for integration processes, configurations, and solutions.

  • Provide training and support to end-users and stakeholders on integration solutions.

• Continuous Improvement:

  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of integration solutions.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and optimization.

  • Stay updated with the latest AWS services and integration technologies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field is preferred.

• Experience:

  • 6+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role.

  • Proven experience in designing and implementing integration solutions using AWS services.

  • Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns and best practices.

• Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in AWS services such as AWS Lambda, API Gateway, S3, SNS, SQS, etc.

  • Experience with RESTful APIs, SOAP, and other web services.

  • Knowledge of data mapping, ETL processes, and data transformation techniques.

• Analytical Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.

• Communication Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Certifications:

  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified Developer is a plus.
