Experienced Sterile Processing Technician

Stoughton Health has an excellent opportunity for an Experienced Sterile Processing Technician to join our Operating Room team on a Full-Time basis.
The Sterile Processing Technician is responsible for cleaning, sterilizing, maintaining, and preparing instruments and equipment for all departments in the hospital.

 

Position Requirements:

 

• Required: High School Graduate or Equivalent
• Preferred: Post-secondary coursework in Sterile Processing skills
• Required Professional Experience: Prior experience as a hospital Sterile Processing Technician.
• Licensure: Sterile Processing Certification is required within one year of hire.
• Preferred Certification: Sterile Processing Certification upon hire.
• Computer Competency: Basic Computer Skills are expected for this position. Access email, reference internal websites, access electronic health records, and use online learning tools to remain current with continuing education requirements.
• Microsoft Office Suite Skills: Beginning Skills – Able to perform basic things such as opening a document, change font, save a document, write a letter.

 

Work Shift:

 

• • Full-Time, .8 FTE
  • 32 hours per week, 8, 10 or 12 hour shifts
  • Scheduled Days: Monday - Friday
  • Schedule Hours: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm (8 hour), 7:00 am - 5:30 pm (10 hour), or 7:00 am - 7:30 pm (12 hour)
  • Every 4th weekend
  • Every 4th Holiday
