B&B Roadway and Security Solutions, an ASSA ABLOY branded company, is looking for askilled Maintenance Technician in our Russellville, AL location. 

 

What you will be doing:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will support the manufacturing operations by performing preventive maintenance as well as emergency repairs as needed. You will be responsible for troubleshooting and repair of advanced electronics as well as hydraulics and pneumatics. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

 

Job Duties & Requirements:

• Ensure safety protocols are in use at all times (PPE, LOTO, etc.)
• Develop/Improve and maintain PM program for all B&B equipment.
• Troubleshooting and repair of electric, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair facilities issues and breakdowns. (Plumbing, lighting, etc.)
• Assist with continuous improvement initiatives through projects and process improvements.
• Support manufacturing/engineering through assistance with production of new jigs and fixtures.
• Support and assist safety teams through hazard identification, avoidance, and improvements.

 

The skills and experience you need:

• Technical training and certification preferred
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing hydraulics.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing electrical.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing pneumatics.
• Experience with troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on equipment such as drills, plasma tables, welders, saws, mills, lathes, brake presses, etc.
• Able to efficiently perform required work in a simplified, organized, and effective manner. 
• Able to effectively communicate with Production Manager, Supervisors, Leads and employees.  

• Strong documentation skills, reporting skills and basic computer skills.
