Job Description

The Military and Aerospace Key Accounts Manager is responsible for maintaining and expanding relationships with significant NDT clients within the US military and the Aerospace market. This role involves understanding clients' technology and technical needs to drive current and future product solutions. They are also responsible for maintaining and developing the strategic long-term relationships with the customer.  They work within the various departments at Evident to develop the current and future product requirements of these key accounts.

Our Key Accounts Manager is a technical expert and solutions provider.  Your expertise in advanced ultrasonics testing, eddy current testing or similar NDT technical products used by military and commercial aviation customers is important to your success.

You will know when and how to introduce other Evident technical experts and industry specialists to our customers as part of your strategy to win.  Evident products are well known within these markets.  This is a position for people who want to exceed their career and financial goals.

Job Duties

  • Meet with stakeholders within key accounts to understand advanced PAUT and ECA inspection needs required today along with gaining feedback of future requirements.  Communicate the technological inspection requirements to our R&D and engineering teams.
  • Identifying growth opportunities and collaborating with clients to align technology solutions with their business goals.
  • Proactively schedule sales calls with key accounts to demonstrate the value of our company and equipment solutions.
  • Identifying and driving the business and technical requirements for current and long-term business opportunities. 
  • Lead the strategic and tactical selling plan for converting customers to Evident products and solutions.
  • Leading the negotiations with key accounts.
  • Use the national technical specialists and market specialists in a creative way to close sales.
  • Keep current on the market trends, technology advancements and competitive solutions.
  • Attending key industry conferences to demonstrate products and inspection advancements.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong knowledge of NDT methods (PAUT, UT, ECT, ECA, RT) and ability to demonstrate Evident solutions. 
  • Knowledge of military applications and inspection techniques for NDT equipment.
  • Ability to work within the R&D, product management, and engineering within the company to develop technical and commercial product requirements.
  • Ability to carry out a strategic product and solutions development plan with the clients’ internal stakeholders.
  • A working knowledge of successfully working through the complexities of the military and commercial aviation support equipment buying processes. 
  • Minimum of five years’ successful experience in ultrasonics, eddy current or other related non-destructive testing products and procedures.  Equivalent sales experience with these products or closely related technology.
  • Expert knowledge of software, hardware, and applications for ultrasonics, eddy current and phased array ultrasonics equipment. 
  • Successful experience selling and maintaining long-term relationships with customers in the NDT field.
  • Ability to understand how industrial machinery and manufacturing works to solve customer applications.
  • Must be able to travel approximately 50% of the time within the territory.
  • Ability to create and deliver persuasive, clear, and concise presentations, product demonstrations, and emails to various audiences.
  • Experience using CRM, sales automation, and sales enablement tools.
  • Must be self-directed, highly motivated, and business oriented.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline or equivalent technical and sales experience required.
  • Minimum 10+ year experience in NDT equipment sales or similar selling skills and training desired.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on technical experience with PAUT and ECA technologies.  Field or sales experience will be considered.
