Global Manufacturing Operational Excellence Lead

<h2>Introduction to the job</h2><p>Operational Excellence is one of the strategic ambitions of Global Manufacturing to accommodate growth and become an excellent organization. The Operational Excellence Lead plays a pivotal role to drive and support the Global Manufacturing Organization, with main focus on run and improve the business, further optimizing performance management and continuous improvement. </p><p></p><p>The Operational Excellence Lead reports to the Head of Operational Excellence Global Manufacturing. </p><p></p><p></p><p>This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.</p><p></p><h2>Role and responsibilities</h2><p>The main responsibilities of the Manager Operational Excellence are to drive the business improvement impact and build organizational capabilities focusing on how we run and improve our business. The aim is to realize sustainable impact by continuously improving our safety, quality, delivery performance and cost competitiveness. The position also requires experience in both project and change management skills. The holder of this position also contributes to ASML's Operational Excellence System (combination of standard principles and methods applied across ASML to run and improve our business) by improving the OE standards used within Global Manufacturing.</p><p></p><p></p><h2>Education and experience </h2><p>Bachelor or Master in Finance/Business Informatics / Information Management / Industrial Engineering / Other relevant Engineering disciplines</p><ul><li>Experience in Performance Management in an Operational Environment</li><li>Background in operational / manufacturing environment</li><li>Experience in Lean deployment or application is a pre</li><li>Additional relevant experience with continuous improvement methods (problem solving, six sigma) or change/ project management experience is a pre</li><li>Fundamental knowledge of Lean principles and change management models</li><li>Experience with managing change of culture and leadership</li><li>Facilitation, training &amp; coaching</li></ul><p></p><h2>Skills</h2><ul><li>A passion for continuous improvement and ‘to get things done’ mentality</li><li>Great networking skills, able to work &amp; communicate at multiple levels of the global manufacturing organization</li><li>The ability to motivate &amp; inspire colleagues in performance management and continuous improvement as a business necessity.</li><li>Has the potential to use a wide range of different influencing techniques (influencing without power)</li><li>Crisp communicator by fact-based and well-structured messages in a range of different formats</li><li>Ability to observe team dynamics and coach and/or define improvements for better way of work</li><li>Is able to listen to others issues &amp; able to connect to people at all levels by showing empathy</li><li>Actively gives and seeks constructive feedback, dares to have courageous conversations</li><li>Good team player who is committed to the success of Operational Excellence deployment within ASML</li><li>Be openminded and eager to learn from others.</li></ul><p></p><h2>Diversity and inclusion</h2><p>ASML is an Equal Opportunity Employer that values and respects the importance of a diverse and inclusive workforce.
