Join our team at our brand-new, state-of-the-art kitchen! We are hiring a Dishwasher to help maintain the cleanliness, sanitation, and safety standards of our kitchen, including washing dishes, glassware, flatware, and cooking utensils using machine and manual cleaning methods. This role is vital to our service standards and service success.

This role requires a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, and the ability to work evening shifts as needed.

Job Description

• Wash dishes, flatware, pots, pans, and cooking utensils by hand when necessary
• Operate the industrial dishwasher in a proper and safe manner
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards; keep the dishwashing area clean and organized, including cleaning sinks, drains, and counters
• Empty trash and maintain cleanliness of waste disposal areas as needed
• Prepare and package individual place settings
• Assist kitchen staff with basic tasks, such as retrieving items or light prep work, as needed
• Clean up spills and broken glass
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors during shift (as needed) and at the end of shift
• Help with food receiving and delivery, assist in putting food & goods away in proper designated areas
• Ensure all cleaned items are properly stored in designated areas
• Monitor and refill dishwashing chemicals and cleaning supplies

Qualifications

• Previous dishwashing experience preferred, but not required
• Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not required
• Attention to detail to ensure dishes are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized
• Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• High school diploma or equivalent is a plus

Pay Range: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.
