Role Description:

The Associate Director, Launch and LCM Excellence Business Process Owner and Portfolio Lead position is responsible for supporting the Cell Therapy Launch and Lifecycle Management Excellence Director in overseeing the execution of the Cell Therapy Launch and Lifecycle Management Excellence portfolio and programs. This role collaborates with site and global stakeholders across manufacturing, quality, supply chain, IT (Information Technology), manufacturing science & technology, commercial ops, patient ops, clinical, and other functional areas on projects to improve launch and lifecycle management processes and to manage the launch book of work. This role’s primary activities will include process management, portfolio management, data analysis and reporting. This job will require orchestrating efforts across a broad set of stakeholders and sponsors ensuring commitments are met with the right sense of urgency.
 

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Develop standards and structure for project management, monitoring, reporting on the launch and LCM portfolio, and evaluating project performance for the Launch and LCM Excellence team
  • Monitor the progress of the overall project and launch portfolio and aid in the success of individual projects when needed
  • Manage multiple projects including creating project plans, project scope, objectives, deliverables, timeline, and resource requirements
  • Implement and support the intake and review process for projects and launches
  • Identify opportunities for improvement, develop strategies, and make recommendations for updating frameworks, processes, and procedures as needed
  • Lead cross-functional meetings focused on launch business processes to define and advance business process models
  • Assist with the establishment and implementation of “launch/LCM playbooks”.
  • Assist with the establishment of on-boarding documentation and implementation of business processes (SOPs, Wis) and training.
  • Maintain the Launch and Lifecycle Management Team’s SharePoint, Confluence page, Teams Channel, and Smartsheets

Qualifications and Experience Requirements:

  • Degree in Project management, Supply Chain, Business Management, Engineering, or another relevant field (Masters or MBA or additional SCM education eg. APICS preferred)
  • 7+ experience in roles requiring project/portfolio management, resource & risk analysis, and metrics reporting
  • Proven experience managing large projects
  • Able to navigate across a global matrix organization, communicate at multiple levels and influence others to achieve results.
  • Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Proven experience working in a rapidly changing environment with the ability to prioritize across competing demands.
  • Ability to identify and track KPI’s for performance management.
  • Ability to use project management tools efficiently to execute on strategic priorities.

The starting compensation for this job is a range in the Washington area is a range from $149,000 - $188,000, plus incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility). 


The starting pay rate takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills and where the job is performed.
