Insurance Risk Analyst - Bilingual (English: Korean) – Ridgefield Park, NJ

Role and Responsibilities

The main responsibility is in charge of commercial property and casualty insurances and MBO communications.

Plays a role in supporting the timely purchase of necessary insurances by understanding the needs of the business team due to the rapidly changing and complex business environment.

Understand the MBO structure and requests from top management, communicate effectively with the MBO team and report on requests.

Responsibilities include the following

• For insurance policies, collect data from participating companies for renewal or change of the insurance policies and communicate with insurance broker for any update and changes as needed

• For insurance renewal and audit of the policy, compile the data and prepare comparison chart and report it to manager and communicate with insurance broker

• Communicate with counterparts at all participating companies and insurance broker daily base for issuing Certificate of Insurance for customers and follow up on insurance questions

• Process invoice payments and communicate with all participating companies once policy is renewed and chargeback of insurance premium

• Review and follow up on insurance provision at contract with legal team and biz team

• Write reports in both English and Korean

• Support on insurance claim process

• Support communication with company KPI

• Support on meeting of external sponsorship committee and board of director meeting

Skills and Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

•  Bachelor’s Degree [finance, accounting, or economics] with 4+ years of relevant experience

• Experience of performing as a financial assistant manager

• Experience of managing insurance policies would be plus

• Experience of interpreting, managing the company policies & procedures

• Bilingual in English and Korean

Preferred Skills:

• Strong analytical skills required

• Strong communication skills in both writing and verbal required

• Proficient on MS word, excel and ERP system
