Requirements:
- High School Diploma or its equivalent.
- ACTIVE Certified Florida Law Enforcement Officer; Possess a passing score on the State of Florida Law Enforcement Certification Examination and be eligible to receive the Law Enforcement Certification; or completed the Florida Equivalency of Training (CJSTC 76) and be eligible to receive the Law Enforcement Certification in accordance with Section 943.13, Florida Statutes.
- Three (3) or more years of sworn law enforcement experience
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Experienced in investigative backgrounds.
- VALID Driver’s License from the Florida Department of Safety and Motor Vehicles by time of employment.
Preferences:
- A degree from an accredited college or university.
- Experience conducting fact-finding interviews with members of the public to gather information.
- Experience in working in a law enforcement agency or a government investigative agency.
- Special consideration may be given to eligible candidates who have bilingual verbal and written skills that meet a critical need of the agency’s mission.
