As a Senior Analyst, Business Operations/EDI, you will be working with highly talented and motivated colleagues with significant healthcare experience who strive for operational excellence with a customer-driven operational model. What you will do
• Must have excellent troubleshooting, problem solving skills, both technically and at the application level.
• Must have expert knowledge of the product lifecycle for Insurance Discovery
• Strength in "attention to detail" and analytical skills with SQL experience.
• Create, maintain and improve (including AI, automation, etc) Operational Reporting for multiple areas of the product life cycle
• Be a subject matter expert on our payment identification process
• Evaluate and monitor the quality of data received from internal or external clients and drive business decisions to enhance the identification for increased recoveries and revenue
• Innovate new ways to monitor internal mappings, data file issues, and current inventory
• Lead in the creation of revenue expectation predictive analytics and opportunity analysis for the current invoicing cycle
• Work with product on design, implementation, and UAT for payment identification and invoicing
• Summarize and present high-level analysis for mid-level management and executive leadership
• Assist in the development of other analysts on the team and enable them to be successful in their responsibilities by coaching and mentoring

What you will bring

• Bachelor’s degree
• Experience in a data analysis, data analytics, data analysis, or business intelligence role
• High-level experience using SQL to create or modifying stored procedure scripts
• Strong experience and expertise with healthcare EDI data exchanges and EDI 270/271 eligibility formats and content across Medicaid, Medicare, and commercial insurances.
• Proficiency in Excel, specifically with pivot tables, charts, and functions
• The ability to work independently on multiple tasks and projects at any one time
• Proven experience with high-level analysis projects and able to present results to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Extreme attention to detail
• Problem-solving skills with the ability to question the “Status Quo”; we want individuals to challenge our assumptions about the business

What we would like to see

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, Math, or Statistics
• T-SQL experience
• Experience in Healthcare Insurance or Healthcare Technology, especially Insurance Discover, Payor Connections
• Experience using a Customer Relations Management (CRM) tool (i.e. Salesforce)
• Experience using Tableau and/or Power BI
