Job Description:
Accenture Federal Services is looking for a Data Engineer to help develop new tools, code, and services to execute data engineering activities.
Responsibilities:
- Movement of structure and unstructured data using approved methods
- Execute data ingestion activities for storing data in a local or enterprise level location
- View data in its source format
- Develop code to format data that supports exploration
- Analyze source data formats and work with Data Scientists and partners to determine the formats and transforms that best meet mission objectives
- Develop code and tools to provide one-time and on-going data formatting and transformations into enterprise or standalone data model
- Implement existing ETL code and best practices/standard
- Develop an ETL Code Transition Plan
- Develop and deliver documentation for each project including ETL mappings, code use guide, code location and access instructions
- Facilitate Code Reviews and provide consulting services to support data transport
Must have:
- 1 year of experience with Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) tools and processes
- 1 year of experience with Python, AWS, SQL, or APIs
Bonus point if you have:
- Experience with Docker/Kubernetes Hadoop/Spark NiFi ELK stack
Security Clearance:
- Active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance
Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York, or Washington State as set forth below and information on benefits offered is here.
Role Location: Range of Starting Pay for role:
California: $117,000 - $214,300
Colorado: $117,000 - $185,200
New York: $108,500 - $214,300
Washington State: $124,700 - $197,300
