Principal Product Manager - Medication Process

The Oracle Medication Process team’s mission is to reimagine how medications are ordered, dispensed, and administered across care settings worldwide. By embedding intelligent automation, clinical decision support, and data-driven insights into our products, we enable clinicians and pharmacists to deliver safer, more efficient, and more personalized care.
We are seeking a highly motivated Principal Product Manager to drive the development and execution of next-generation medication management solutions from concept to release and adoption. In this role, you will work closely with engineering, clinical informatics, and UX teams, as well as pharmacy and nursing stakeholders, to define requirements, guide product strategy, and ensure the delivery of intelligent, safe, and scalable products that improve patient outcomes.
Your Qualifications
- 7+ years of professional experience in product management or clinical informatics
- 3+ years of experience developing products or workflows in pharmacy, medication management, or related healthcare domains
- Familiarity with medication order entry, verification, dispensing, and administration processes in both acute and ambulatory care settings
- Experience working with or within EHR systems (ex. Oracle Cerner Millennium, Epic, or Meditech)
- Understanding of pharmacy management systems, clinical decision support, and medication safety best practices
- Familiarity with data analytics, AI/ML-enabled decision support, and healthcare interoperability standards (ex. NCPDP, HL7, FHIR)
- Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements related to medication management and healthcare IT
Preferred Qualifications
- Licensed pharmacist, nurse, or clinician with product management or informatics experience
- Experience with AI/ML-driven healthcare products or automation in pharmacy workflows
- Demonstrated success developing or enhancing large-scale healthcare platforms in regulated environments both in the US and globally
- Bachelor’s degree in informatics, computer science, engineering, or a related healthcare discipline
- Define Product Strategy & Roadmap: Develop and maintain a clear product strategy focused on transforming pharmacy and medication management workflows using intelligent, data-driven solutions.
- Author & Communicate Product Requirements: Develop clear, detailed Product Requirements Documents (PRDs) to guide engineering, design, and leadership decisions, fostering alignment and efficient product execution across teams.
- Leverage Data & AI: Partner with engineering and analytics teams to apply AI, predictive models, and data insights that enhance safety, efficiency, and financial performance.
- Collaborate Across Functions: Work closely with clinical, engineering, and UX teams to translate complex medication workflows into intuitive, scalable product designs.
- Clinical Workflow Optimization: Partner with pharmacists, nurses, and prescribers to identify opportunities for workflow simplification and automation across the medication process lifecycle.
- Compliance & Risk Awareness: Ensure product design aligns with medication safety standards, privacy regulations, and interoperability requirements across U.S. and international markets.
- Market Readiness & Delivery: Support go-to-market planning, documentation, and post-release feedback cycles to ensure successful adoption and measurable customer value.
- Continuous Learning: Stay current with advances in AI, automation, and medication management practices to drive innovation and maintain competitive differentiation.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only
US: Hiring Range in USD from: $82,500 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
