A-Gas Americas is looking for a bright, energetic, and motivated Customer Support Specialist to join our growing team in Rhome, TX. You will need to have great communication skills, both verbally and written, and have the interpersonal skills to build and maintain strong professional relationships with all A-Gas customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide a high level of internal customer support and proactive account management.
• Answer and direct phone calls as necessary.
• Assist with wholesale facing box truck customers/jobs.
• Build and maintain sustainable relationships with internal/external customers through open and interactive communication, written and verbal.
• Work to ensure customer accounts and order entry accuracy.
• Responsible for gas acquisition job entry and tracking, quickly and accurately.
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure jobs are completed accurately and in timely a fashion.
• Prepare and analyze job reports to submit to Finance.
• Utilize the internal system to access incoming vessel reports.
• Check reports for accuracy.
• Filter reports based on material pricing/fee requirements.
• Complete final customer report template with details from incoming vessel report.
• Add customer required detail to worksheets in the form of attachments or data.
• Price according to the most current agreement in the customer detail template.
• Update Purchase Orders in a system with material information and cost.
• Coordinate salesperson signature if required prior to submitting to finance.
• Coordinate jobs ready to be receipted and paid with finance.
• Send completed customer reports as they correspond to check runs.

Experience, Knowledge, and Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree preferred

• 3+ years in Customer Service

• AP/AR experience is a plus

• Ability to organize, prioritize tasks and handle numerous assignments simultaneously

• Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, SAP, SalesForce, Excel, and other internet applications

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
