Identity Product Management Intern

Telesign is looking for a Identity Product Management Intern, to support and learn the complete life cycle of one or more TeleSign products, internal or external facing. This person will prioritize features and functionality, delivery to market and evaluation after the delivery. Also, this person will communicate product strategy to relevant stakeholders.   

This role reports to the Product Manager and will work closely with the rest of the Identity team. We will be welcoming interns during the Summer 2023 term (June to August) and the Intern will be expected to work up to 40 hours per week during the 12-week period.

 Key responsibilities: 

• Facilitate project execution for our team through organization, documentation, and scheduling.
• Work with your Product Manager to conduct research to inform the product roadmap.
• Help define and document new features.
• Assist in producing business cases for new features.
• Keep leadership apprised of project status.
• Collaborate with other TeleSign departments as needed.
• Participate in product training for internal departments. 
• Collaborate with customer facing teams to deliver new customer integration and launch. 
• Review 3rdparty solutions for potential adoption at TeleSign. 

 

Essential requirements:

• Pursuing a college degree, preferably in Product Management, Business, Computer Science or another relevant field.
• Product Management or other relevant industry experience. 
• Experience with web user interfaces, websites,and portals. 
• Exposure to RESTful APIs and exposure to REST, HTTP, JSON, XML, authentication concepts. 
• General knowledge and understanding of computer and network security concepts.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills, self-organized, with a proactive approach and able to multitask.
• Judicious decision-makingskills in a high-responsibility environment.
