Assistant Director, Parents Program, Annual Fund, Duke Alumni Engagement and Development
Annual Giving Officer
The Duke Annual Fund and Reunion (AF&R) program is part of Duke’s Office of Alumni Engagement and Development (AED). The Duke Annual Fund has been an integral part of the Duke fundraising landscape since 1947. The AF&R team is comprised of nearly 30 dynamic and motivated professionals who are responsible for facilitating the raising of nearly $50 million in unrestricted support annually from over 52,000 donors. There are three primary methods for securing philanthropic support—direct marketing and stewardship, peer-to-peer outreach performed by over 1,500 volunteers each year, and staff solicitation. Our continued success is dependent upon close collaboration with colleagues in AED and within Duke’s 10 schools and main campus units. The AF&R team is arranged by program—the Duke Parents Program, Next Generation Philanthropy, Leadership Giving, Reunion Engagement and Giving, and Fundraising Strategy and Operations.

This position will also direct the planning and execution of the Parents Program Webinar Series and work closely with the Parents, Next Generation Philanthropy and Leadership Giving teams on collaborative prospect strategies. The position reports to the Senior Associate Director for the Parents Program.
