Lead System Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Monitoring and administrating SQL servers and reporting, as well as keeping the existing queries maintained and monitored.

  • Creating, managing, and monitoring SIS jobs for DepotOps, Elevated Admin rights and Desktop QC reports transferred between AT&T and vendor for data accuracy and complete.

  • Overseeing and assisting ask&GET team in DepotOps transition to ServiceNow with the possibility of maintaining post transition.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Elaborate the design and interfaces for specific components including: Define subsystems and their interfaces, allocate responsibilities to subsystems, understand solution deployment, and communicate requirements for interactions with solution context.

  • Align development teams to a shared technical direction and partners with those teams in elaborating the Solution and its interfaces; Validate technology assumptions, evaluate implementation alternatives; Establish critical NFRs at the solution level, participate in the definition of others.

  • Create and enable the Continuous Delivery Pipeline including: Participate in planning, definition, and high-level design of the system solution and explore alternatives; Develop the Architectural Runway in support of new business Features and Capabilities; Work with portfolio stakeholders, Solution and Enterprise Architects, to develop, analyze, split, and realize the implementation of enablers; Participate in project planning, system and solution demos, retrospective workshops.

  • Understand technical characteristics of and assist with architectural integration of external components, systems, and platforms.

  • API Concepts and Methodologies (5-8 years)

  • DevOps (5-8 years)

  • Git (5-8 years)

  • JavaScript (5-8 years)

  • Linux (5-8 years)

  • MS Azure - needs experience

  • Python (5-8 years)

  • ServiceNow Scripting and Development - needs experience

  • ServiceNow System Administration - needs experience

Desired Education:

  • Bachelor's of Science degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Science, Electrical Engineering, or Math; Developer nanodegree; or equivalent experience preferred

Our Lead System Engineer earns between $128,400 - $192,600 annually. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
