Job Description
Our Program Advisory business, set up in 2018, offers services to clients in the strategy, set-up and transition and transformation of their capability to deliver major programs and projects both in the US and globally, with a market leading client base across all sectors. Our key differentiator is that we offer practical, accessible advice informed and underpinned by broad technical delivery capability and industry experience of our core business.
Our success is driving the expansion of our US team. As such, our Advisory team is seeking to recruit a strategic and experienced Senior Consultant. In this client-facing role you will work on a variety of consulting/advisory assignments. Each assignment is led by a Turner & Townsend Director, and you would work as part of that multi-disciplinary team to deliver excellent outcomes for our clients. Your knowledge and experience in delivering consulting and advisory services will be critical to our success.

Specific role responsibilities are set out below:
- Working on exciting and challenging commissions that improve the way an organization develops its capital strategy, assesses and allocates capital, and sets up its major programs and projects for success.
- Providing best-practice advice and hands-on help to our clients in relation to establishing, transforming, operating and optimizing major programs and projects.
- Deploying a variety of consulting techniques to improve performance across the capital and project lifecycle.
- Working as part of an integrated team; leading workstreams (up to moderate complexity); taking ownership of significant/complex deliverables (supported by others in our team).
- Supporting the definition and development of tools and techniques that support our service delivery.
- Supporting business leaders with business development and practice development.
- SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or other recognized professional qualification in one of the following fields: management consulting, business management, engineering, construction, procurement, contract management, project management, project controls or information technology.
- Ability to provide value-adding advice and hands-on help to clients in the infrastructure, commercial real estate, or natural resources sectors especially in the areas of establishment and operation of major capital projects and programs.
- 4 to 6 years’ experience in a similar consulting role OR
- 5 to 10 years’ experience in a relevant role in the infrastructure, natural resources, heavy industrial, or construction sectors.
- An awareness of business improvement approaches including business process re-engineering, system development, change management and other relevant techniques.
- An enthusiastic and self-motivated individual, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstration of prior experience on high value capital programs.
- Experience in digital data analytic tools is also advantageous.
Additional Information
The salary range for this full-time role is $140K-$180K per year. Ranges are determined by role and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range is a reflection of base salary only, not of a total compensation package. Please note Turner & Townsend reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range, depending on candidate’s experience and qualifications.
