What are we looking for?

The Field Safety Representative is responsible for ensuring the safety of our employees is maintained through training, audits, and observations. The Safety Representative should be able to address the working conditions and tasks to identify and coach employees to prevent safety incidents. Correcting all unsafe acts or conditions observed.

What you’ll do: 

•  Compliance with applicable company and client procedures.
•  Compliance with OSHA regulations.
•  Providing new hire orientation as required.
•  Issuing and inspecting fall protection equipment.
•  Spending 80% - 90% of time in field conducting safety audits.
•  Discuss field audit findings with employees.
•  Completing audit inspection forms and reporting weekly audit information.
•  Accompany injured personnel to proper medical facility.

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of (2) years of experience as a practicing safety and health professional in the manufacturing, petrochemical, or refinery industry (required).
• Valid TWIC Card (required)
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable driving record (required)
• Safety personnel are required to work in both environmental conditions, inside and outside.
• Shall possess fundamental written and verbal communication skills.
• Shall be fluent (written and verbal) in the English language.
• Computer skills, especially familiarity with MS Office applications, are necessary.

Preferred Requirements & Qualifications:

•  2-year degree or certificate in process or occupational safety preferred.
