Position Overview
Under general supervision, performs difficult and responsible clerical functions including reviewing complex material to be keyboarded, processed and filed. Keyboards a variety of routine forms, form letters, cards and records.
Essential Functions:

Performs a variety of complex clerical information and assistance, record processing and general office support duties.

Performs special assignments including assistance of staff in processing court ordered material with Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF) Federal reporting.

Conducts computer clearance for welfare savings due to client obtaining employment, receiving unemployment benefits or non-cooperation.

Serves as receptionist.

Edits Authorization and Transmittal of Assistance Action forms received from casework staff.

Maintains files of forms, reports and supplies.

Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of duties as enumerated above.
Minimum Qualifications

Requires knowledge, skill and mental development equivalent to completion of high school.

Requires two (2) years of office experience.

Requires the ability to keyboard at a rate of 45 wpm.
Work Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5pm; 1- hour unpaid lunch.
