JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for a significant function or program within a major department, institute, or division that has organizational impact. Plans, coordinates, and manages all aspects of the assigned program or functional area and is responsible for maintaining collaborative and effective working relationships to both internal and external colleagues and associates. Assures leadership decisions are implemented in a positive and timely manner.  

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Bachelors degree with three years of progressive and applicable experience in the area to be served.  

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, and/or REGISTRATION: TBD for specific assigned area  

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1. Responsible for the overall administration and coordination of the day-to-day delivery of program or functional area services. 2. Continuously analyzes systems and processes. Develops and implements best practices and appropriate changes to improve outcomes in a timely manner. 3. Creates evaluation strategies to monitor performance and determine the need for improvements. 4. Initiates and set goals for programs and functional area according to the strategic objectives of the organization. 5. Assists leader with budget development and planning. Ensures areas of responsibility meet fiscal requirements and monitors expenditures. 6. Ensures program and functional area operations and activities adhere to any legal guidelines and internal policies. 7. Keeps senior management informed with detailed and accurate reports or presentations. 8. Develops appropriate communication and communication methods to facilitate the flow of information and maximize effective communication throughout the program. Communicates services with other departments and vendors as applicable. 9. Facilitates and/or conducts individual and group presentations as needed. 10. May supervise the work and manage performance of assigned staff. 11. Participates in committees as appropriate. 12. Performs other related duties incidental to the work described herein. SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS: Thorough knowledge and understanding of functional area to be served Excellent oral and written communication skills Strong project and process management skills Knowledge of program/project management techniques and methods Excellent organizational and leadership skills Outstanding knowledge of data analysis, reporting and budgeting Working knowledge of all MS Office applications including Word and PowerPoint. Ability to achieve results with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail Motivated self-starter Demonstrated problem-solving and analytic skills
