Our entire team is driven by a shared commitment to transforming the landscape of critical care through our rapid seizure detection technology, come join the movement!</p></div><p><strong>Position Overview</strong>:</p> <p>The Advanced Product Team at Ceribell’s Research and Development Department is looking for a motivated and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team! The Senior Electrical Engineer will support the design of next-generation medical devices. The ideal candidate will have outstanding problem-solving abilities and a strong proficiency in digital and analog electrical design. This position requires an on-site presence typically 3-5 days a week and is located in Sunnyvale, California.</p> <p><strong>What you'll do:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Contribute to all stages of electrical design, from developing specifications and capturing schematics to PCB layout and testing prototypes.</li> <li>Participate in hardware selection, risk analysis, and design reviews.</li> <li>Specify and document circuit board requirements based on system requirements.</li> <li>Provide comprehensive documentation for PCB schematic diagrams and directions for PCBAs, adhering to relevant industry standards.</li> <li>Create and perform test procedures to verify functionality, performance, and reliability.</li> <li>Generate reports and associated documentation for regulatory submissions and meeting quality system requirements.</li> <li>Collaborate with contractors and employees, provide technical expertise and support, including the evaluation of proposals.</li> <li>Coordinate and oversee external electrical manufacturing and testing.</li> <li>Be ready to make a difference in a fast-paced startup environment.</li> <li>Other responsibilities as assigned by your Manager/Supervisor</li> </ul> <h4><strong>What you'll need to be successful:</strong></h4> <ul> <li>Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.</li> <li>5 or more years of experience as an electrical engineer and electrical systems designer.</li> <li>Advanced experience using Altium, Eagle, Allegro, or KiCAD.</li> <li>Understanding of e
