Cargill Foodservice Sales Internship

Learn the exciting world of foodservice sales with knowledgeable & inspirational leaders. Candidates will participate in various activities including customer meetings, special projects, Salesforce updates, product/service offerings, preparing proposals, and communication/negotiation practices.   

Your Work

• Contribute to developing and delivering sales bids, presentations and proposals and participating in product demonstrations. 
• Work with current customers building relationships to generate future sales and repeat business. 
• With basic knowledge of products, their characteristics and market, sell and stimulate demand for a series of products. 
• Plan daily activities, including customer visits and quantitative and qualitative objectives to achieve. 
• Follow market and competition evolution, passing information to senior staff. 
• Handle basic issues and problems under direct supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff. 
• Other duties as assigned 

Compensation

The compensation for this role will range between $18.80 - $26.00, determined by graduation date.

Internship Details

• Internships are typically 12 weeks in duration. 
• Interns are paid hourly for time worked. 
• Interns are responsible for transportation to and from work. 
• Interns may have the opportunity to travel during their term, based on business need.  
• Interns who demonstrate outstanding performance and a curiosity to learn more may be offered an internship, co-op or full-time position to return the following year.
