Hitachi Energy is seeking a Manufacturing Operations Supervisor for our Jefferson City, MO location. How You’ll Make an Impact
Ensure a safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the safe use of all equipment and resources.
Manage and train employees, ensuring they understand and achieve Section KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).
Track and enter hourly employees’ time into the timekeeping system.
Complete production plans by scheduling and assigning personnel, establishing priorities, and monitoring progress.
Provide manufacturing information by compiling, sorting, and analyzing production performance records and data.
Resolve personnel issues by analyzing data, investigating issues, and recommending actions.
Use excellent people skills to coach and communicate effectively, accomplishing daily deliverables.
Provide clear direction to the work group, setting priorities proactively and managing conflicts effectively.
Your Background
Bachelor’s Degree and 2+ years of manufacturing experience; OR Associate’s degree and 4+ years of manufacturing experience; OR High School Diploma/GED and 6+ years of manufacturing experience.
Work authorization that permits employment with Hitachi Energy in the United States.
Broad experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
Knowledge and experience with lean manufacturing implementation and Six Sigma training.
Ability to work all shifts and periodic weekend work.
Strong interpersonal skills to achieve cooperation from others.
Ability to work effectively with limited supervision.
Strong communication skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
