Job Description

This position requires an individual who can efficiently maximize all operational aspects of staging operation for News, Sports & Entertainment Operations.  The candidate must possess a variety of competencies including project management, event operations, meticulous follow-through, comprehensive organizational skills, acute attention to detail, superior judgment, and a reliable business sense. 

Responsibilities

• Manage all FTEs for operations supporting Entertainment News & Sports operations.
• Cultivate client relationships for customer success.
• Maintain fiscal management of labor budgets for IATSE & USA.
• Develop and execute productivity to offset merit and volume annually.
• Streamline processes to increase reliability.
• Increase Talent Pipeline for all assignments. 
• Strengthen the organization by fostering growth and culture with frontline managers, and technical staff.
• Provide leadership and direction to staging management team supporting all staging requirements for News, Sports & Entertainment operations.
• Work closely with Labor Relations & Human Resources to negotiate labor contracts.
• Work closely with technical management to ensure all staging needs meet client expectations.
• Develop, Execute and Maintain Disaster Recovery plans for all Brands.

Qualifications

Qualifications/Requirements

• Experience with all aspects of staging operations and labor contracts supporting News, Sports & Entertainment operations. 
• Must have strong staging acumen with a working knowledge of set design and how to solve problems in a fast-paced studio environment.
• Must have knowledge of remote staging operations.
• Must have a strong working knowledge of union contracts
• Must be compliant in Environmental Health & Safety standards.
• Excellent organizational and management skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Expert ability in managing all aspects of staging operations including carpentry, props and electric.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree with 7+ years of experience in a studio environment
• Experience with deadline driven environment.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work as a member of a team.
• Proficient in Office 365 tools such as Teams, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, etc.

• Required On-Site: This position is required to be performed full-time from an NBCUniversal-designated worksite.
