Junior Software Development Engineer in Test

Two Six Technologies is seeking a Junior Software Development Engineer in Test or Software Automation Engineer to work on an emerging cyberspace capability. This candidate will be responsible for helping to develop and maintain automated functional/user-acceptance tests. They will work closely with the development and field operations teams. 

Responsibilities Include:

• Write automated tests in Java and TestNG for user-focused cases
• Monitor and maintain the test automation project, including checking test results, troubleshooting and resolving defects, and reporting product defects in JIRA.
• Review core development features for test automation failures before release (Test/Product Defects)
• Address any immediate concerns from internal stakeholders to include blocked builds, build failures, or critical test updates
• Collaborate with entire SDET and greater Testing teams during Agile planning and conducting peer code reviews

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelors in Computer Science or related field OR 3 years of experience in automated software testing and Quality Engineering, specifically with automated testing frameworks (Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Spring)
• Minimum of 1 year of experience with Java or other Object-Oriented Programming language
• Minimum of 1 year of experience with the Agile software development lifecycle

Nice to Have:

• Experience using Git, Jenkins, and various Continuous Integration tools
• Experience with any UNIX-based operating system
• Experience with scripting languages (JavaScript/Python)
• Experience with PostgreSQL or other database solutions

Clearance/Citizenship:

• Must be able to obtain a US Secret Security Clearance
