Part-time Night Sanitation Technician

Job Summary Details:   The GMP Cleaner position is responsible for supporting cleaning and disinfection activities in GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) spaces, equipment, and associated areas used in the production of Master and Working Cell Banks, as well as facilities involved in Cell & Gene Therapy manufacturing and final product filling.    Schedule: Monday to Friday, 4p.m. to 9p.m.    Location: Houston, TX 77007

Basic Qualifications:
  •  Experience in sanitizing critical areas such as hospitals, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, or the food industry.  •  Must be 18 years of age or older     •  No experience required and on the job training provided •  No high school diploma, GED or college degree required
  Preferred Qualifications: •  Aseptic cleaning experience •  GMP cleaning experience •  Customer service experience  •  1 year of similar work experience
  Responsibilities:

•  Perform cleaning and sanitization of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) areas, equipment, and facilities to meet cGMP standards. 

•  Follow aseptic techniques and adhere to cleaning schedules for controlled environments. 

•  Prepare and use cleaning solutions as per protocols, ensuring proper storage and handling. 

•  Maintain compliance with SOPs, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. 

•  Organize and monitor cleaning supplies, reporting shortages or discrepancies. 

•  Participate in pre-audit walkthroughs to ensure readiness and compliance. 

•  Clean floors, walls, and equipment using prescribed methods and tools. 

•  Support documentation of cleaning activities, including reports on non-conformances or deviations. 

•  Operate and maintain cleaning equipment effectively. 

•  Perform additional tasks as needed to meet operational goals.
