JOB DESCRIPTION: SENIOR ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

Your Role:

A Senior Account Executive’s role is to provide faultless support for their accounts, making sure that they are managed seamlessly and efficiently. As a Senior Account Executive, you will demonstrate a development of your role from Account Executive by taking more ownership of tasks and starting to assist Account Supervisors and Account Directors in driving your accounts forward.

An established and trusted member of the team, you will alert your AS to any issues and opportunities in a timely manner. Taking an efficient approach to every element of account support, the rest of the team can rely on you to complete tasks without error. Previous lifestyle and fashion experience is preferred for this role, but not required.

Core requirements include:

  • Be dedicated, positive and enthusiastic team player and maintain strong working relationships

  • Ensure that the foundations of the account are run impeccably

  • Provide a strong support for AS and AD, serving as a reliable, proactive, solution-oriented and valuable member of the team

  • Ensure that work (written and communication included) presented to senior members of the team is of the best possible standard

  • Demonstrate ownership of every task given to you, while maintaining responsibility and accountability for your work

  • Lead Account Executives and Account Coordinators, delegating where relevant and answering any questions they may have

  • Cultivate a thorough knowledge and expertise of the client, their product and the industry landscape, and demonstrate your commitment to the accounts, while pushing yourself towards new achievements.

  • Exhibit a confidence in your communication with the rest of the team and client

  • Being efficient and diligent with all work tasks, exploring all routes to deliver requests from your team and client

  • Be fully capable of effective time management, prioritizing tasks effectively and delivering work in a timely manner (always flag any issues early – e.g. workload considerations, if you don’t think you can meet a deadline) Job Description: Media Management:

  • Maintain a strong knowledge of the media landscape, especially in relation to the specific needs of your clients

  • Continue to cultivate relationships with key media and maintain an extensive network

  • Manage ongoing editorial coverage for clients, overseeing opportunities from initial sell in to final delivery 

  • Expertise in editorial calendar opportunities and long / short lead pitch deadlines

  • Oversee the media monitoring for all client coverage / articles of interest, ensuring junior staff flag / report to team and clients in a timely manner 

  • Oversee development of media strategies and materials (e.g. press releases, media alerts, pitches, media lists, media updates, coverage recaps, etc.) Client Services:

  • Develop trusted relationships with clients, providing timely and thoughtful communications while ensuring your tone is professional and friendly

  • Anticipate client needs and work with team on addressing promptly

  • Proactively escalate potential issues or opportunities, flagging to senior team members and identifying solutions

  • Understand the importance of verbal and written presentation skills and learn how to talk clients though a document or pitching an idea

  • Show genuine interest in your clients’ business
