We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Coordinator to join our team.

Position Summary

The Warehouse Coordinator will run the day-to-day activities on the shipping floor. The colleague will be responsible for working with customer service to create the ship schedule and insure the ship schedule is met. This is a hands on role.  The incumbent will help as needed with the processing and handling of inbound as well as outbound materials, including receiving, shipping, material movements, sampling, and documentation. The colleague must be team orientated and able to work under limited supervision in a dynamic environment.

(Near-term) Responsibilities in a Startup Environment: In a startup environment, the Warehouse Coordinator will adapt quickly to changes, lead in developing and optimizing new processes, and identify opportunities for innovation and improvement. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams, managing inventory and resources efficiently, and troubleshooting unexpected challenges. The Warehouse Coordinator will also contribute to scaling production processes, participate in diverse tasks to support the dynamic needs of the startup, and ensure the sustainability and scalability of all procedures as the company grows.  Specific activities would include FAT, SAT, CQV, media fills and engineering runs that lead to stability batches.  The successful candidate will need to be flexible to perform activities outside of the standard aseptic requirements in order to assist other departments during scale up of staffing and processes. 

Position Responsibilities

  • Work with Customer service colleagues to set and maintain the Atlanta site’s shipping schedule.
  • Insure all SAP transactions are complete, including but limited to Flex, ZPMON, and the entire OB shipping process in SAP.
  • Perform all warehousing duties as needed to meet customer orders.
  • Pull orders from the warehouse to supply manufacturing with returned finished goods.
  • Pull orders from the warehouse to supply distribution with finished goods.
  • Pull orders from the warehouse to supply international customers.
  • Receive and put away finished goods.
  • Complete sampling work with outside vendors including but not limited to LTL truckers, full truck load carriers, and supply vendors.
  • Perform import/export duties and serve as a subject matter expert.
  • Order supplies using the Ariba system.
  • Use SAP to complete all required transactions.
  • Be flexible in order to meet required schedules which will include overtime and weekend work.
  • Help write and update SOPs. Follow all site procedures.
  • Assist with updates to the Zoetis Quality Standards.  
  • Comply with all safety, quality and compliance regulations.
  • Provide training to co-workers.

Education and Experience

  • High School Education or GED required, with college education preferred.
  • Experience with import/export shipments is strongly desired.

Technical Skills and Competencies

  • Familiar with basic SAP functions
  • Familiar with the use of email
  • Truck Driving experience
  • Ability to drive several different types of MHE, including but not limited to Turret trucks, sit down lifts, Stand up lifts, and power jacks is required.

Physical Position Requirements

  • Position requires extended periods of standing and repetitive lifting.
  • Position does require overtime and weekend work.
  • Successful applicant may be asked to drive equipment with a manual transmission.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds routinely.
