Salary: $26.63/hr. - $29.39/hr.  (Bilingual Spanish: $29.03/hr. - $32.03/hr.)

 

Position/Job Summary:

The Home Studies and Post Release Services (HSPRS) Field Operations Manager (FOM) is responsible for coordinating logistical and on the ground support to Home Study and Post Release Services staff who provide services to release unaccompanied children per Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) requirements. The Field Operations Manager must be experienced in coordinating the safe logistics of travel and lodging for staff and ensuring rapid deployment of resources when needed. This position will work directly with Morrison ORR Business team, Program Director, and Assistant Program Directors.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Support in coordinating the safe logistics of travel and lodging for staff and ensuring rapid deployment of resources when needed.
  • Develop and implement systems and processes to support staff with questions about travel, and may book travel arrangements for staff, as needed.
  • Works closely with Case Management supervisors and Assistant Program Directors to Provide support on the field to team members when traveling.
  • Monitor staff compliance with budget expectations in collaboration with program directors, business coordinators, and finance staff.
  • Work with Morrison finance team, division director and program director to ensure that business operations are in compliance with applicable state and federal guidelines.
  • Oversee business accounts with key vendors of travel and lodging services from program portfolio
  • Complete regular travel usage reports for finance staff as required.
  • Collaborate with finance staff during finance reviews.
  • Share pertinent information with program director and program leadership team.
  • Assist with special projects program-wide, as needed.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to developing a thorough knowledge and application of the Sanctuary model and other organizational policies & practices.  
  • Participate in staff development, in-services, and training related to equity and inclusion in the workplace; model appropriate behaviors; develop, recommend, and implement improvements to business practices with awareness and understanding of the impact in a trauma-informed and culturally diverse organization. 
  • Other duties as assigned to ensure successful operation of program/department.
