We are currently seeking a Data Engineer - Python to join our team in Irving, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).

Job Responsibilities: 

- Develop data pipelines using python/pyspark

- Work with Relational/Non-relational databases using data model concepts

- Automate code quality, code performance, testing

- Write detailed documentation about coding procedures and processes for other programmers to follow

- Provide thought leadership in mobile engineering and bring your passion for technology to motivate and inspire on a day-to-day basis

- Produce and ensure delivery of quality, readable, and well-tested code

- Problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting to identify and solve issues in the application development

- Be a part of larger scrum team and scrum ceremonies

 

Basic Qualifications:

- 5 years building data pipelines using Python, Pyspark

- Unix/Linux. 

- Python and related packages (like NumPy, pandas etc.) to load and scrap the data

- At least one of the tools the Hadoop eco-system (HDFS, AWS Glue, MapReduce, Yarn, Hive, Pig, Impala, Spark, Kafka).

 

Nice to Have:

- Cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)

- Certification/ course on Data Science from any reputed institute/ portal

 

Education:

-Degree: Bachelor’s in computer science or equivalent work experience
