About the position

We are actively seeking a Senior Financial Controller to join our team in Spain. This pivotal role offers the chance to steer financial strategies, optimize performance, and drive sustainable growth within our expanding operations.
Responsibilities
Supporting the Director Corporate Finance to further develop and roll out financial controlling standards and processes.
Typical job duties:
- Financial performances review and reporting to top management
- Propose and implement improvements to the management reporting processes & data analytics
- Coordination, leadership and support to the finance key-user group on the Budget/Strategic Planning process
- Become subject matter expert of the planning system (Adaptive)
- Development of dashboards for management
- Perform ad hoc analysis for the CEO/CFO/CTO
- Represent Corporate Finance in cross-functions projects
Requirements
Must haves:
- 7 to 10 years of professional experience in finance, accounting & controlling,
- High IT affinities with a broad experience in financial systems
- Accounting deep knowledge (IFRS)
- Excel expertise including database creation
- High level of process orientation
- Proactive, open minded, assertive and mature personality
- Self-learner able to work independently with a strong analytical mindset
- Excellent English language skills
Would be a plus:
- SAP FICO, Hyperion, Adaptive, Power BI systems knowledge a significant plus
- Good MS Office overall knowledge
- Experience with standard costing
- Experience in project cost management
- Big four audit experience
- Good teaching and communication skills
