The Category Manager will help reshape and modernize our procurement practices from the ground up by consolidating suppliers, elevating negotiation strategies, and creating a world-class procurement function that directly impacts our growth. Working closely with leadership, you will optimize vendor partnerships, drive significant cost savings, mitigate risk, and position Impact for future scalability. This is a high-impact, individual contributor position for those energized by strategic ownership, cross-functional influence, and process optimization. Responsibilities 

• Lead strategic sourcing initiatives for IT and corporate services categories (including technology, cybersecurity, marketing, administration, and financial)
• Analyze vendor landscape and actively drive supplier consolidation efforts to streamline spend, reduce risk, and maximize value
• Conduct negotiations to secure the best possible pricing, terms, and service levels with new and existing vendors
• Develop sourcing strategies aligned with business priorities, collaborating closely with Finance, IT, Service Delivery, and Marketing teams
• Manage end-to-end RFP, RFQ, and supplier evaluation processes
• Partner with stakeholders to ensure contracts meet operational, compliance, and risk management requirements
• Provide reporting and insights on category spend, supplier performance, and sourcing initiatives
• Stay informed of market trends and innovations to recommend proactive sourcing strategies and supplier alternatives

Things We Are Looking For 

• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, finance, or a related field 
• Proven experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or category management, with strong exposure to IT or managed/professional services
• Strong negotiation skills with a track record of securing favorable terms
• Excellent communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills across all levels of the organization
• Ability to analyze financial and procurement data to drive cost savings
• Experience with supplier evaluation, contract management, and compliance
• Knowledge of procurement software and automation tools
• Strong market research skills to identify competitive sourcing opportunities
• Exposure to vendor management optimization and supplier consolidation initiatives
