Requirements

What You Will Do: 

• Construct and install custom planters, trellises, and garden structures.
• Repair and maintain wooden fixtures, shelving units, and displays.
• Install and repair fencing, gates, and outdoor furniture.
• Assist with general maintenance tasks, including painting, plumbing, and electrical work as needed.
• Ensure all projects are completed efficiently and to high-quality standards.
• Collaborate with the retail team to fulfill special customer requests and create engaging displays.
• Uphold safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

What You Will Bring:

• Strong carpentry skills with experience in woodworking, framing, and finishing
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Knowledge of building materials and their properties
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Flexibility to handle a variety of tasks and projects in a fast-paced retail environment
• Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset
• Prior experience in retail or a similar setting is preferred but not required
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to follow safety guidelines at all times
• Applicants must be age 21 or over and are required to have an active valid drivers license; CDL license; not required but helpful
• Be available to work a flexible schedule that includes some weekend
