Care Team Manager

The Care Team Manager supports leadership in day-to-day oversight of behavioral health operations and management by ensuring clinical teams function effectively and deliver high-quality care.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Provide oversight for day-to-day operations and management of clinical teams.
  • Support Clinical Operations Administrator in client programs management.
  • Ensure Clinical Managers have the tools and training necessary to effectively provide care and manage their direct reports.
  • Consults with Clinical Manager(s) on cases that require a higher level of clinical supervision for operational support (e.g. Functional Analysis approval process)
  • Support RBTs in meeting RBT supervision requirements
• Carry out specific individual clinical responsibilities in the treatment of clients and in the support of families:
  • Conduct initial assessment of clients diagnosed with a developmental disability and produce assessment report to include a recommendation for treatment and supervision hours.
  • Observe and assess client skills and progress to inform recommendations for ongoing intervention and behavioral programming.
  • Create and lead implementation of Behavior Intervention Plans, as appropriate.
  • Collaborate with additional service providers on the client's support team to ensure comprehensive service delivery.
  • Address program delivery with families, including parent/caregiver coaching, challenges with implementation of program, parent/caregiver participation, and work environment, as necessary.
  • Attend treatment plan review meetings with families.
  • Intervenes as necessary to support and/or repair relationships with client families, attends to formal grievances related to clinical programs.
• Meet or exceed individual and team productivity and billable hours targets.
• Support the development and execution of the individual’s and supervised team’s annual V2MOM (Vision, Values, Methods, Obstacles, Measures.
• Collaborate with Family of Companies (FoC) shared services departments to ensure successful delivery and application of clinical excellence-, finance-, revenue cycle-, data analytics-, IT-, quality-, human resources-, and recruiting-related services to day-to-day operations.
• Ensure compliance, regulatory, and funder requirements are met, and take action if they are not.
• Partner with colleagues and managers  ensure a positive customer experience for all clients through coordinated service delivery.
• Maintain necessary continuing education requirements.
• Complete additional duties as assigned by manager.

 QUALIFICATIONSMinimum Education, Experience & Training Equivalent to:

• Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA®) in good standing for a minimum of two years.
• Three to five years’ experience providing staff direction, training and development in a supervisory role in ABA Programs or other multi-disciplinary team setting.

• Strong skills in leadership, mentoring and managing teams
• Knowledgeable of evidence-based methodologies found to benefit children diagnosed with ASD or other developmental disorders.
• Strong clinical background and knowledge in best practices in Behavioral Health
• Commitment to building, developing, and supporting diverse teams.
• Enthusiasm for the values of the organization including disruption and resilience.
• Familiar with common modalities in ABA treatment delivery, including but not limited to; Verbal Behavior Milestones Assessment and Placement Program (VB-MAPP), Assessment of Functional Living Skills (AFLS), Essential for Living (EFL)
• Sensitive to working with an ethnically, linguistically, culturally, and economically diverse population.
