7:00AM-5:00PM

Rotating Weekends

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. 

 

Knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.Knowledge of technical factors utilizing kVp, and mAs per anatomical exposure.Knowledge of patient positioning techniques required to image human anatomy.Knowledge of federal and state regulations applicable to contrast media and medication.Knowledge of radiation protection and safety.Skill in speaking with persons of various social, cultural, economic and educational backgrounds.Ability to make precisely coordinated movements of the fingers of one or both hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble very small objects.Ability to arrange things or actions in a certain order or pattern according to a specific rule or set of rulesAbility to give full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate

 

Education and/or Other Requirements

Graduate of AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology

ARRT registration and Illinois State License

Maintain educational requirements for licensure and registration.

 

Environmental Factors

Occasional exposure to moderate environmental variations, above-normal noise levels, and/or unpleasant substances; daily exposure to hazardous or potentially injurious elements or conditions.
