This will be full time, days position. The shift will be 3 12-hour shifts, 6:30am-6:30pm, Monday-Friday.
Participate in special projects, serve as preceptor of new employees in cardiac cath, and circulate and scrub for all types of cardiac catheterization procedures. Provide general patient care to cardiac catheterization patients, setting up and running equipment, and performing basic cardiac catheterization procedures. In addition, coordinate the direct duties, responsibilities, schedules, and daily operations of the team. Collaborate with staff, physicians, clinics, clinical engineering, IT, and units/departments to ensure efficient workflow. Help oversee orientation of new staff and on-going staff education and evaluations. Acts as a role model, resource person, and member of the management team as well as keeping the organization mission and vision at the forefront of all patient care and system activities.
- Bachelor's Degree is required.
- Requires 3-5 years of relevant experience.
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required.
- Requires advanced Cardiovascular Life Support Certification.
- Recommended Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist - Certification or equivalent.
- Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
