About the role

Job Purpose:

BTIG seeks a highly organized individual who will support the Capital Introduction Team through reporting, documentation, event coordinating and prospect maintenance across various fund types and strategies. Candidate will be working in a fast-paced environment who will have exposure to C level executives. Looking for a confident, multi-tasker with a “can do” attitude.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Operate in a fast-paced, client-centric environment
  • Heavy phone and e-mail interaction with hedge fund clients, allocators, and internal contacts
  • Prepare overview materials on individual hedge fund and investor firms
  • Analyze data on the hedge fund industry and summarize key trends and themes by creating content that is distributed to global client base
  • Assist in planning and execution of a range of client conferences and events
  • Update internal Salesforce CRM for client and allocator data

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 7- 10 years + relevant work experience
  • Must have hedge fund or alternative sales experience
  • Self-starter with excellent attention to detail and exemplary problem-solving abilities
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail oriented and highly organized
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize competing responsibilities, manage deadlines, and stay organized, while conducting oneself with a strong sense of personal accountability
  • Team player who collaborates effectively with colleagues
  • Technical skills:
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
    • Familiarity with Salesforce.com or comparable CRM is a plus
    • Industry licenses – SIE, Series 63 and Series 7 will be required to be obtained in the first 90 days.

Compensation: 

  • BTIG offers a competitive compensation and benefits package. Salary range is based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, location, years of applicable experience, skills, qualifications, licensure and certifications, and other business and organization needs.
  • The current estimated base salary range for this role is $200,000 - $250,000 per year. Please note that certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as discretionary bonus or overtime.

  • Must be authorized to work full time in the U.S., BTIG does not offer sponsorship for work visas of any type
