About the role
Zoox vehicles include 18 cameras, 8 Lidars, 10 Radars, and 5 IMUs whose data is fused to enable localization, mapping, and perception. The Zoox’s CLAMs team develops state-of-the art algorithms to ensure accurate sensor calibration, optimize with respect to sensor data to develop high-accuracy maps of the road network and its surroundings, and maintain an accurate real-time vehicle pose. These capabilities are foundational to enabling reliable autonomy in complex environments.
As part of the team, you will collaborate to define, analyze, implement and evaluate algorithms to solve problems in this domain. There is a strong need for algorithms that are verifiably robust while operating on diverse data across a variety of environments and conditions.
We are looking for passionate interns who are interested in gaining industry experience and diving into exciting autonomy challenges using the vast quantity of data at hand.
About ZooxZoox is developing the first ground-up, fully autonomous vehicle fleet and the supporting ecosystem required to bring this technology to market. Sitting at the intersection of robotics, machine learning, and design, Zoox aims to provide the next generation of mobility-as-a-service in urban environments. We’re looking for top talent that shares our passion and wants to be part of a fast-moving and highly execution-oriented team.
