Senior Scala Developer (Short-term project)

<p><br/>Intetics Inc., a leading American technology company specializing in custom software application development, distributed professional teams creation, software product quality assessment, and “all-things-digital” solutions, is looking for a <strong>Senior Scala Developer</strong> to support our Data Science and Engineering cluster with the Cloud Migration project. The goal of this initiative is to migrate all our services to the AWS Cloud while upgrading the codebase of our Scala-based services.</p><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p></p><p>Required:</p><p>• 5+ years of experience in Scala development</p><p>• Strong experience with Scala 2.x and Scala 3</p><p>• Familiarity with Shapeless and Scala 3 mirrors</p><p>• Deep understanding of Akka</p><p>• Experience with Pekko or Cats Effect + FS2</p><p>• Microservices &amp; distributed systems experience</p><p>• AWS Cloud (ECS/EKS, S3, Lambda, EC2, etc.)</p><p>• Strong English communication skills</p><p></p><p>Would be a great plus:</p><p>• Experience migrating from Scala 2.12 to Scala 2.13 and Scala 3</p><p>• Migration from Shapeless to Scala 3 mirrors</p><p>• Migration from Akka to Pekko or Cats Effect + FS2</p>
