The Machine Maintenance Technician II is responsible for completing emergency and preventative maintenance tasks. General duties include applying technical skills and basic problem solving related to CNC machines, injection molding machines, auxiliaries and other general production equipment.

As a Technician II You will support the Operations Maintenance team by designing solutions for common problems and supporting projects.

In this role, a typical day will look like:

  • Identify and resolve safety risks and uncontrolled hazards
  • Complete basic preventive and emergency maintenance activities as assigned.
  • Recognizes and solves typical problems that can occur in work area without supervision; evaluates and selects solutions from established operating procedures
  • Perform basic equipment maintenance and installation tasks.
  • Perform or coordinate review and calibration of equipment.
  • Provide or request purchased tools and equipment as authorized.
  • Coordinate the implementation of tools, jigs, and fixtures as needed.
  • Required to work off-shift or Saturday, as needed, to support production or to maximize up-time on machinery/processes.
  • Coordinates exchange of information within impacted team.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Associates Degree in related field, or appropriate background with related work experience. Mechanical inclination.
  • 1-3 years related experience in an appropriate manufacturing or engineering environment. Experience with machine maintenance in general, electrical troubleshooting.
  • The ability to read and comprehend drawings and other technical information required to perform the assigned task work.
