Air Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift

Job Responsibilities

- Plans work schedules of assigned departments according to requirements

- Provides guidance to employees

- Strong people and communication skills

- Must be able to and have work schedule flexibility

- Interprets and applies specifications such as drawings, routings, etc

- Maintain appropriate records such as Company Policy, PM logs

- Maintain proper production rate, stable workforce, and succession planning

- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized work area based on our standard

- Monitors the operation of all equipment in accordance with safety requirements

- Enforce Company Policy and takes disciplinary action as needed

- Maintain order fill and demonstrate a passion for the customer

- Implement continuous improvement

- Ensure that quality standards are met

- Stop processes if quality or safety standards are not met

- Identify and record any problems relating to the product, process, and the quality system

- Initiate, recommend, or provide solutions through designated channels

- Control further processing, delivery, or installation of non-conforming product until deficiency or unsatisfactory condition is corrected

 

Educational Requirements

− High School Diploma or GED

Experience Requirements

− 3 years’ minimum experience working as a leader within production manufacturing

Skills Requirements

− Skilled with Microsoft Office 
− Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills
− Strong interpersonal skills
 

Preferred Skills/Experience

− 5 years related experience
− Preferably experience in supervising teams
− Bachelors Degree
