Job Purpose and Impact

The Senior Human Resources Business Partner - Finance, will act as an extension of the team to support the development of complex people and culture strategies and operational plans. In this role, you will ensure that priorities around talent and performance, organizational effectiveness and engagement are addressed for Business Finance and the Finance COEs and enhance the domain practices that allow the function to attract, develop, reward and retain talent.

Key Accountabilities

  • Partner with essential leadership and HR Business Partner colleagues to align complex people and culture strategy to function strategy.
  • Provide daily consulting to leadership on a variety of actions to include employee relations issues, policy application, talent management and development and organizational design consultation.
  • Engage as essential team member for talent strategy development and execution and supply to the development of new capabilities in the function.
  • Promote the advancement of the diversity, equity and inclusion efforts for the function.
  • Enhance and be accountable for the tracking, analysis and reports on key metrics, including core people and culture metrics.
  • Develop and lead the execution of core people process through the year.
  • Participate as an active member of the human resources community to build links across the team and support other domain initiatives and projects and identify and sharing strategies and solutions.
  • Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of four years of related work experience
  • Experience forming strong partnerships and trust with employees regardless of level

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience analyzing and doing report outs on moderately complex metrics, including people and culture metrics
  • Experience supporting the development of new capabilities in the business

Additional Information

Minnesota Sick and Safe Leave accruals of one hour for every 30 worked, up to 48 hours per calendar year unless otherwise provided by law.
