Job Description

As a Security Officer - Warehouse Site - Multiple Shifts in Hopewell Junction, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment at a busy logistics and distribution location. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols, monitoring assigned areas, and maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents. You will also interact with team members and visitors, offering exceptional customer service and clear communication to support daily operations. What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe for any unusual activity within the facility.
• Document and report security-related incidents and observations according to site protocols.
• Collaborate with site personnel and/or law enforcement as required for security-related matters.
• Support a secure environment for employees, visitors, and property within the logistics and distribution location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
