JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Enter and manage purchase order data for vendors, maintenance, and production teams
  • Track inventory levels through periodic physical counts; restock supplies upon delivery
  • Record parts and supply receipts in the inventory system to maintain real-time accuracy
  • Order materials and parts required for maintenance and production operations
  • Generate and distribute preventive maintenance work orders
  • Maintain system data in alignment with company policies and procedures
  • Assist in creating and distributing reports that support maintenance and production planning
  • Process internal billing for maintenance and production activities
  • Prepare documentation for equipment shipping and receiving
  • Uphold all safety standards and ensure compliance with company safety protocols

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or GED required; 2+ years of related experience preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (intermediate level)
  • Solid math skills: ability to perform basic calculations using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Primarily a seated role, but involves intermittent standing and walking
  • Periodic lifting and handling of inventory items
  • Frequent movement throughout the plant, including cool/damp areas
  • Required use of safety footwear while in the cooler
