Software Engineering Internship

• The software we develop is often part of a complex electro-mechanical system.  We work alongside Electrical, Mechanical, and Systems Engineers to create subsystems and integrate them together.  Our work is also supported by Project Managers and Quality Engineers, insuring effective project execution and quality in the function and performance of the system.   
• As a member of our Software Engineering team, you'll work with other Engineers to develop and deliver real software for companies in various industries. You'll work in a small project team that collaborates closely with the customer and develops desktop or embedded applications that meet the customer’s needs.  
• You’ll develop desktop or embedded applications depending on the needs of the product.

Education and Experience  

• College student that has completed at least their junior year by the start of the internship (graduate students are encouraged to apply as well) 

• You should know at least one of the following programming languages:  

•  C, C++, Python, Java, or C#  

• You should also have a basic knowledge of data structures, design patterns (object-oriented design), and algorithms  
• Fluency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)  
• Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)  
• Ability to approach complex problems and learn new things (especially self-directed learning)  
• Desire to contribute to projects across several industries
