What You'll Do:

 

The Sanitation Technician is responsible for both machine and common area janitorial tasks. The Sanitation Program provides a schedule to work with the production and maintenance teams to keep equipment and production area sanitized in alignment with food grade standards and regulations. In addition, duties may include cleaning of common areas such as lunchroom, rest rooms, offices and trash pickup and removal. Additional duties would involve supporting the production team with industrial sanitation needs. This position reports to the Sanitation Supervisor. In the absence of the Industrial Sanitation employee, another Industrial Sanitation employee will serve as backup.  We offer multiple career paths, training in GMP, HACCP, food safety and food production related subjects.

What You'll Need to Succeed:

 

  • High School graduate or equivalent required.
  • Ability to measure and calculate percentages, basic math.
  • 1 yr. Manufacturing experience, preferably in a chemical or food processing facility.
  • Knowledge of HAACP, CIP and food grade sanitation guidelines preferred.
  • Prior lift truck operation and safety certification preferred.
  • Use of MS products required, SAP software preferred.
  • Attend work as scheduled and availability to work overtime if needed.
