Job Description

The Utility Warehouse position is responsible for acting as an on site Attendant at client locations as well as working out of the West Deptford warehouse assisting the onsite team in both Service and Warehouse.

Candidate will provide exceptional customer service by ensuring that our customers’ products are stocked appropriately. Ensure that customers' equipment is always operating properly, and cleaned. Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs.

Candidate will also split time working with the Operations of the Warehouse when not on client location.

Long Description

COMPENSATION: The Hourly rate for this position is $22.04 to $22.04. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer. This is Aramark’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

Job Responsibilities

ATTENDANT

· Unload and stock daily inventory at customer site, ensuring freshness of products by monitoring date codes

· Manage the ordering, delivery, and stocking of items at client location

· Use a computer to manage stocking PAR levels, product orders and client invoicing 

· Performs repairs to best of ability.

· Calls in orders and service calls to head office.

· Distributes promotional materials and merchandises complete product line.

· Cleans equipment and exchanges decanters on each visit.

· Communicates with Route Sales Manager or General Manager regarding customers and reports on pending problems or on evidence of competitors in customer locations.

· Establishes and maintains a good working relationship and liaison with customers to project a positive image of the company and product.

WAREHOUSE

· Responsible for receiving and inspecting products, accurately labeling items and reporting any discrepancies in reconciliation of deliveries and invoices.

· Responsible for organizing and storing all incoming products in assigned locations, applying FIFO (first in, first out) inventory controls for perishable products.

· May require training and operation of a manual pallet jack, electric pallet jack, and/or forklifts.

· Picks inventory to assemble orders of product, supplies and equipment for requisitions or established par levels.

· Follow all Standard Operating Procedures to meet accuracy and production standards.

· Load and unload products and materials to different areas of the warehouse and/or other client locations. May require use of carts, powered industrial vehicles (PIV), or motor vehicles.

· Responsible for conducting routine physical inventory counts based on established location schedules.

· Accurately complete administrative duties including records such as inventory count documents, temperature and spoilage logs, equipment inspections, and any other relevant business records. This may be on paper or in a technology-based system (hand-held device or PC).

SERVICE

· Will assist the Service department with non-skilled work such as equipment moves, filter changes, general housekeeping in the warehouse.

Qualifications

 

· Must be over 18 years of age

· High school education or equivalent is preferred

· 2 years of previous warehouse experience is preferred

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

· Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills

· Basic computer skills
